About The Book
Runaway bride Frankie Ashford hops a plane to Norway with one goal in mind - find her estranged mother and make peace with the past. But when a slip on the ice in Oslo lands her directly in Jonas Thorsen’s viking-strong arms, her single-minded focus drifts away in the winter winds.
When it comes to romance Jonas knows that anything he and Frankie share has an expiration date - the British heiress has a life to return to in London that’s a world away from his own. But family is everything to Jonas and, as the one man who can help Frankie find the answers she’s seeking, he’ll do whatever it takes to help her reunite with her mother.
Now, as Christmas draws closer and the northern lights work their magic Frankie and Jonas will have to make a choice...play it safe or risk heartbreak to take a chance on love.

I have the pleasure to share with you this Guest Post by Darcie Boleyn, can you believe it? ;)

Destination Norway
Norway is a beautiful country with plenty to offer visitors. With its dramatic fjords, giant glaciers, breath-taking scenery, pretty coastal towns and the chance of spotting polar bears and reindeer in the wild, as well seeing the incredible northern lights, it’s well worth adding to your bucket list.
Here are some of the exciting things you can do in Norway:
1. Take a cruise on the Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord with its famous arm the Nærøyfjord, that has World Heritage status. The surrounding mountain areas are very popular with hikers.
2. Go glacier hiking on the blue ice on the Nigardsbreen, the most accessible glacier in Norway. It’s only 6km from Jostedalen and glacier hiking is an exciting way to enjoy the beauty of the landscape. You could also visit the picturesque Jostedalsbreen, the largest glacier in mainland Norway. The 500 square kilometre glacier is an awe-inspiring sight.
3. Visit Oslo with its many tourist attractions like The Viking Ship Museum, where you can see the world’s best-preserved Viking ships and treasures from the Viking tombs discovered in the area of the Oslo fjords.
4. Head to Tromsø and book a reindeer-sledding adventure with a chance to catch sight of the northern lights. These trips include sled rides, feeding wild reindeer and a dinner of Sami stew in a traditional lavvu tent.
Of course, if you can’t make it to Norway for the foreseeable future, why not get yourself a copy of Love at the Northern Lights? It will give you a taste of how beautiful Norway is and hopefully leave you feeling that you’ve experienced the magic and beauty of falling in love in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

My Thoughts
Frankie has left her future husband at the church and decides to take a must needed trip to Norway, not only because of the beautiful landscapes and handsome men, but to try to find her mother. Luckily for her, this trip will be an end and start for her life, she will find more than she ever searched, but will she be strong enough to accept it?
This had been a sweet and delicious story, I have to say I read it in one stand and I couldn't put it down! But it was not only a sweet story that makes you love this book, is the past of Frankie, telling how was her childhood without a mother; how her mother has lived all these years without seeing her daughter and of course how Frankie decides to take a step and fight for her dreams; that makes this story real and touchable. Of course we all not have a family with money to support us behind, but I think all of us can understand what it means that our family doesn't approve our desires and hopes.
It was interesting reading how Frankie's mother had to left her daughter and husband behind, simply because she was not "acceptable" in a richer family, you know, too idealist and crafty for the posh people...! But sadly, the relation between the wife and the mother-in-law sounded so familiar to me that it was scary!
The story totally transports you to the cold but beautiful Norway landscapes, I can tell you that they are as astonishing as you read the book, but quite pricey too! ;)
I really liked the story, but I would had liked a couple of more chapters, it was a brusque ending, letting everything explained in the epilogue,
This is a story to enjoy with a hot chocolate in a cold day, it will warm your heart and put a sweet smile on your face, because in life even if you were in a difficult position, you can have a nice ending!

About The Author
Darcie Boleyn has a huge heart and is a real softy. She never fails to cry at books and movies, whether the ending is happy or not. Darcie is in possession of an overactive imagination that often keeps her awake at night.
Her childhood dream was to become a Jedi but she hasn’t yet found suitable transport to take her to a galaxy far, far away. She also has reservations about how she’d look in a gold bikini, as she rather enjoys red wine, cheese and loves anything with ginger or cherries in it – especially chocolate.
Darcie fell in love in New York, got married in the snow, rescues uncoordinated greyhounds and can usually be found reading or typing away on her laptop.
