Lowcountry Bonfire by Susan M. Boyer
Genre: Cozy Mystery
When your husband has been unfaithful making a bonfire with his favourite car could seem a good idea... or better killing him?
Liz and Nate's new case has a lot of suspects, but the motive is not as easy as it would seem... Will they discover the truth before another body appears?
'"So, what do we need to do?" asked Nate.
I shrugged. "According to Colleen, all we can do is prepared and be alert."
"Then why are you still worried?"
A tear escaped. "Because I can't imagine life without you."'
I always like Liz and Nate cases, there are always multiple suspects and the ghostly presence of Colleen makes their books original and interesting at the same time.
In this case we will face infidelity, a secret agent and a mysterious party where everything changed... Liz and Nate will not have an easy case, and her always protective Colleen will be disappeared on the most needing moments... What's she hiding? You could not miss our favourite characters, that after a lot of suspense, seems that we will know the truth of the auguries dreams that Liz is having in the next book (or I hope so!).
Susan M. Boyer always surprises me with her books, there's freshness, drops of humor and murder, the perfect ingredients to enjoy a good read!
This is the 6th book of the Liz Talbot series, you can read it as standalone, but I am sure you will fall in love with the characters and start reading the series from the first book, they are engaging!
