Harvey Zale is a billionaire who just wants to make more money, but he has a little problem in his new business, it seems there are some precious windows there... and his ex-wife, the expert in antiques Alma Castillo is ready to fight for them.
Who will win the fight, money or love?
"'I think you're being too hard on yourself, he finally replied, intentionally evading her observation. You seem to be able to express yourself just fine.'
'Yes, with you, I say exactly what I feel. There's never any regret. It's always effortless.'
'Well, then... you'll just have to spend more time talking with me. Problem solved.'"
This is the first book I've read of the series Second Chance Billionaire Romance, it's the second on the series, but you can read it as standalone, the characters are completely independent.
This is a high voltage book, with hot scenes and some texting! ;)
We will discover Harvey and Alma, our main characters, that after being divorced for a year they still have sparks between them and a few problems to solve...
I have to say that I missed a little chemistry in the dialogues between the characters, Harvey had done a few things wrong in their marriage but I am sure that not everything is his fault. If something I've learned in my relationship is that if you have any problem you have to say it, the other people can't always guess what's wrong! Without a dialogue there's no relation! And I am not sure if apart from a very hot relation, Harvey and Alma have anything else in common...
While we learn a little about the famous stained-glass artist, we will accompany Alma and Harvey in their adventure/misadventure to discover that no matter how much money do you have, there are things that are not for sale.
Ready for an adventure?
